The image below is from an automatic camera pointed East from Yucca Ridge Field Station located 15km NE of Fort Collins, Colorado, and uploaded to the page at 10 minute intervals during daylight hours.
This page and associated images are specifically designed to support the STEPS project during the summer of 2000.
All imagery is also being saved at YRFS for future use.

Basic Information about the image above:
1. Normal Camera will be a JVC KY-19 Camera pointed at 105 degrees true from Lat 40.66844N Long -104.93994W.
1a During nighttime when there is a moon, a Sony TVR900 will be set on image integration mode to view distant clouds.
2. Snapcap software and Snappy capture device used to generate image
3. Yucca Ridge is located about 15km Northeast of Fort Collins, CO
4. A map of the field of view is located here.
5. Imagery is captured and available during daylight hours at 00,10,20,30,40,50 mins past the hour
6. Time on the image is UTC. For Mountain Daylight Time, subtract 6 hours.


Future Enhancements:
1. We are planning on making short time-lapse video files available of interesting events recorded from Yucca Ridge.
2. A separate page showing the current and past weather derived from instrumentation located at Yucca Ridge
